Maryanne “Rainbow” Sharman, also known as Rainbow The Magic Clown started performing on a volunteer basis, entertaining mostly at hospitals, nursing homes, and children's centers.  It was so enjoyable; she was inspired to make it her life's play.  

Along the way, Rainbow started adding more skills to her repertoire including magic, face painting, balloon sculpture, and stilt walking.  She also enjoys performing as other characters such as Sepentina the Sorceress, Mildred Geekenbaum, Jingle Santa’s favorite helper, and many others. 

Rainbow has had the pleasure of performing many places around the world.   She had the honor of representing the United States at World Clown Carnival hosted at “Hous Ten Bosch”, a Theme Park in Sasebo Japan.  She would return to perform there regularly for years.  Rainbow has also enjoyed performing at such venues as casinos, picnic grounds, stadiums, parades, night clubs, malls, schools, amusement parks, and restaurants. She has also performed in murder mysteries, corporate and private events such as company picnics, birthday, bar/bat mitzvah, festivals, and holiday parties.  Rainbow continues to enjoy her life's play in the Atlantic City, Philadelphia, & New York City areas.
